I got 12, some of which I read in high school. I try to read at least one banned/challenged book every year for BBW and some of them are things i've read since school.
ReplyDeleteApparently I'm a literary Lightweight. I've actually read my share of banned books, but not the most challenged =)
ReplyDeleteHi Marie & Tynga!
ReplyDeleteI'm in between both of you! I'm "A Little Forbidden Reading Never Hurt Anybody"! But I'm going to work my way up a little this week with A Wrinkle in Time, which I started to read and really am enjoying!
I read at least one challenged or banned book each year for BBW too! This year my "official" choice is The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
Thanks for stopping by and taking the quiz! Stop by tomorrow and read Carrie Ryan's post on why YA authors write "controversial" books!
Interesting quiz!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read too many from this list - just 6, but I've read them all without realising that they faced any banning.
Where's Waldo was banned?!
I've read 8 on this list. James and the Giant Peach? Seriously?
