I like nature books -- or natural history writing quite a bit. I'm trying to think of some of my favorites in that genre: definitely Peter Matthiessen's 1978 book The Snow Leopard (which is a classic) and Barry Lopez's book Of Wolves and Men. Love him too. Would also like to get my hands on the book H Is for Hawk by Helen Macdonald. I've heard it's really good. Enjoy the outdoors there!thecuecardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08870323589682197091noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5447574405650512339.post-33912047125595587292016-04-11T12:37:49.784-04:002016-04-11T12:37:49.784-04:00We've got a cool rainy day here, but April Sho... I have Cabaret of Plants from the library, so I can check it out that way, but I'm going to have to wait for One Wild Bird at a Time, which I think will be a great read. I'm a birder too and the author is such a good "bird and nature" writer. Can't wait!Suzanne Yesterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00340451897624838384noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5447574405650512339.post-26454064041080807712016-04-10T21:32:29.607-04:002016-04-10T21:32:29.607-04:00One Wild Bird at a Time and the Cabaret of Plants ...One Wild Bird at a Time and the Cabaret of Plants have my imagination going. And probably any book that author has written because he really writes "down to earth" and I have enjoyed everything I have read by him.
